In June 2019, Congress funded the VA MISSION ACT OF 2018 giving all Veterans greater access to healthcare.
The military protects our way of life – and deserves The Best Care Possible® with access to world-class private sector community hospitals and medical care facilities.
Most veterans need guidance about how to leverage the public/private relationship to healthcare now possible and how to gain access to eligible private sector providers.
Providing The Courtesy Of Knowing
Mission Act Health works hand-in-hand with NAVIGATOR USA and other veteran service organizations to help raise the population health and well-being of all veterans by providing knowledge and access to information,
including private healthcare options that supplement (do not replace) existing VA benefits.
This includes the courtesy of knowing which community hospitals and providers understand and welcome Those Who Served as well as how to access available veterans benefits and family resources to improve quality of life.
Peer-Supported Whole Person Care For Veterans.
MISSION ACT HEALTH provides healthcare organizations like FQHC's and self-insured companies with a system -- an extra layer of care coordination -- that connects veterans to existing national, state and local social services.
In order to help our Nation fulfill its obligation to our veterans, community private sector clinicians are being "called up" to help provide care for our retired military veterans.
If that veteran is among the 60% of veterans who do not yet hold a VA Health Benefits card, we connect that individual veteran to his or her existing VA Health benefits in order to receive high-quality emergency and diagnostic care at a VA MEDICAL CENTER. For second opinions, wellness services, and Board-Certified physicians, we connect members to MissionActReady® CCN providers in their communities.
The Best Care Possible® is found by leveraging the best of the VA Health System with MissionActReady® providers in the Community Care Network (CCN).
